Welcome to CrocoCoach - Focus Screen Time ("the App"), operated by Igor Tretyakov ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

CrocoCoach is a gamified screen time management and focus app designed to help users limit phone usage, block distracting applications, and promote physical and mental well-being through character-driven motivation (featuring Croco, Fluffy, Capy, Owly, and other mascots).

2. ELIGIBILITY & AGE REQUIREMENTS

By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction to consent to service usage). If you are under the age of 18, you must review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian.

3. SYSTEM PERMISSIONS & APP FUNCTIONALITY

To enforce app blocking and track focus sessions, the App may request specific Android permissions, including but not limited to:

Usage Stats Access: To monitor active screen time and identify running applications.
Display over other apps: To show reminders and blocking screens on top of user-selected apps and to return you to the home screen when a hard-blocked app is opened after the daily limit is exceeded.

By granting these permissions, you acknowledge that they are necessary for the App’s core functionality. The App uses these permissions strictly on your device to execute blocking features and does not use them to harvest personal data.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES & HEALTH DISCLAIMER

Productivity Tool Only: CrocoCoach is a self-management productivity tool and is not intended to serve as medical treatment for digital addiction or mental health conditions.
Emergency Calls & Essential Apps: You are responsible for configuring your blocking settings properly to ensure you maintain access to essential device features (such as phone calls, emergency services, and system settings).

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (DISCLAIMER)

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

In no event shall Igor Tretyakov be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

Missed notifications, phone calls, text messages, or alarms caused by active app blocking.
Loss of productivity, missed appointments, or business interruptions.
Device performance issues resulting from operating system updates or background process limits imposed by hardware manufacturers.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the App — including software code, UI design, logos, graphics, brand name ("CrocoCoach"), and character designs/artwork (including Croco, Fluffy, Capy, Owly) — are and will remain the exclusive property of Igor Tretyakov. You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

7. IN-APP PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

Certain features or cosmetic items in the App may require payment or a subscription.

All financial transactions are processed securely through the Google Play Store.
Billing, cancellations, and refund requests are governed by Google Play’s official Refund Policy and Terms of Service.

8. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to the App or any of its features at any time without prior notice or liability.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our official website at https://crococoach.com/ with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
